Daya blog cover. Juicyway alternatives for Nigerian businesses.

The main Juicyway alternatives for Nigerian businesses are Verto, Daya Business, Grey Business and Raenest Business. Each gives a company foreign account details in its own name and pays suppliers abroad. Verto's plans run from $0 to $35 a month, Grey Business charges 0.8% (up to $10) to receive, and Raenest Business charges no conversion fee.

Every figure on this page came off each company's own pages on 22 September 2026. For the wider picture on collecting and paying across borders, how Nigerian businesses pay and get paid globally covers the options beyond these apps, including banks.

Who is Juicyway for?

Juicyway is a business account first. Disrupt Africa reported in November 2025 that it had more than 12,000 business customers, including oil and gas traders, logistics companies and FMCG importers, and that its main product is a USD account in the business's own name for collecting international payments.

The Juicyway homepage lists these products for businesses:

  • Multi-currency accounts, with USD and CAD virtual accounts in the business's name.
  • Currency exchange between NGN, USD, CAD, USDT and USDC, where you can set the rate you want to convert at and wait for it.
  • International transfers to more than 50 countries.
  • Bulk payouts and payroll.
  • Payment links and a checkout for accepting card and bank payments.
  • An API for companies building payments into their own product.

Juicyway also has personal accounts and crypto trading. If that's how you use it, skip to the section on using Juicyway personally near the end.

Why do businesses look for a Juicyway alternative?

Businesses usually start looking because they can't price Juicyway before signing up, or because a payment got stuck. These are the common reasons:

  • There's no public fee schedule. Juicyway's pages say transfers between Juicyway users are free and describe fees on other transfers as low, without figures. You see the price once you're signed in.
  • Money got held. Juicyway has 3.5 stars from 114 reviews on Google Play, and recent negative reviews describe funds unavailable for weeks and slow replies from support. It's a small sample, but it's the complaint that matters most with company money.
  • Your customers pay in pounds or euros. Juicyway's business-named virtual accounts are in USD and CAD, so a company with UK or European customers may want GBP or EUR details as well.
  • You want to compare cost on your own volume before moving treasury.

How do Juicyway alternatives compare?

Verto, Daya Business, Grey Business and Raenest Business all let a Nigerian company receive foreign payments in its own name, convert to naira and pay abroad. They differ on currencies, on how they price conversion, and on whether you can pay a supplier in USDT or USDC.

Where does Daya Business fit as a Juicyway alternative?

Daya Business, like Juicyway, lets a company hold dollars and pay suppliers abroad in USDT or USDC as well as by bank transfer, converting at a rate that comes off Daya's own exchange. The account details are in your business's name, so international customers pay you the way they'd pay any other company.

These are the parts of Daya Business that matter most for a Juicyway user:

  • Collecting and paying from one account. Customer payments and supplier payments both run through your Daya Business account.
  • Conversion from Daya's own exchange. Daya runs the exchange it quotes from, so the rate isn't bought from another provider and marked up again.
  • Stablecoin payouts. You can send USDT or USDC on-chain to a supplier's wallet from the app, next to ordinary bank transfers.
  • Saved beneficiaries. You add a supplier once and pay them again without re-entering their details.

If you rely on Juicyway for payroll, payment links or CAD accounts, check those against Grey Business, Raenest Business or Verto before you move. For a company whose main job is collecting dollars and paying suppliers, Daya Business covers that in one place, with the option to settle in stablecoins.

Is Verto a good Juicyway alternative?

Verto suits companies that want a published price list and multiple currencies. Verto's Nigeria pricing shows three plans: Free at $0 a month, Lite at $15 and Emerging at $35, with Enterprise priced on request. Verto collects USD, EUR and GBP for Nigerian businesses and settles in naira.

The plan changes the percentages:

  • Currency conversion on major currencies costs 0.6% on Free, 0.5% on Lite and 0.4% on Emerging. Less common currencies cost up to 2% on every plan.
  • International collections cost 0.5% on Free. Lite and Emerging drop to 0.3% above $10,000, and Emerging to 0.2% above $200,000.
  • SWIFT payments cost $25 each on every plan, and naira collections are free.

As a worked example, collecting $10,000 on the Free plan costs $50. On Emerging it also costs $50, because the lower rate only starts above $10,000, plus the $35 subscription. Verto's paid plans only pay off once your monthly volume is well above $10,000.

Is Grey Business a good Juicyway alternative?

Grey Business suits smaller companies that want team features and predictable caps. According to Grey's guide to Grey Business, receiving costs 0.8% with a minimum of $2, €2 or £2 and a maximum of $10, €10 or £10, and conversion costs 0.5% to 1% depending on the currency pair, with some major pairs capped at $6.

Grey Business also has multiple users with different roles, bulk payouts by CSV upload, and cards for team members. Grey says opening a business account needs company registration documents and ownership details, and approval usually takes 1 to 3 business days. If you're weighing Grey for personal income too, Grey alternatives in Nigeria compares the personal account.

Is Raenest Business a good Juicyway alternative?

Raenest Business suits companies that convert a lot, because Raenest says on its business accounts page that it doesn't charge conversion fees. Raenest Business gives you USD, GBP, EUR and NGN accounts in your company's name, and incoming transfer fees are set case by case.

Raenest's page on receiving payments also covers bank transfers and cards from customers, and its business accounts can run single or recurring payments to suppliers, vendors and staff. Because the incoming fee isn't a fixed figure, ask Raenest for a quote on your real monthly volume before comparing it with Verto or Grey Business.

What if you use Juicyway personally or for crypto?

If you use Juicyway personally, the alternatives are different Daya products:

  • Getting paid in dollars as a freelancer or remote worker. Daya Borders gives you US and euro account details and takes 0% on incoming dollar and euro payments, with no cap.
  • Buying crypto or stablecoins. Daya Coins lets you buy from your own Daya naira account, with no peer-to-peer trades and no minimum.

What should a business check before leaving Juicyway?

Moving company money is where mistakes get expensive, so check these before you switch:

  1. Which currencies your customers pay in, and whether the new provider gives you account details in each one.
  2. The full cost on your real monthly volume: the fee to receive, the conversion fee or rate, and the fee to pay out. Ask for it in writing if it isn't on a public page.
  3. What the new provider needs for verification. Grey Business, for example, asks for company registration documents and ownership details.
  4. A small test payment in and out before you move anything large.
  5. What record you get for each payment, so your accountant can reconcile it at month end.
  6. Keep Juicyway open until every customer and supplier has moved to the new details.

Does Juicyway show its fees before you sign up?

Which Juicyway alternatives let a business pay suppliers in USDT or USDC?

Daya Business lets a company send USDT or USDC on-chain to a supplier's wallet from the app, as well as paying by bank transfer. Juicyway itself also trades and holds USDT and USDC, so a company already settling some suppliers in stablecoins can keep doing that with Daya Business.

Which Juicyway alternative has no conversion fee?

Raenest Business says it doesn't charge conversion fees, though its incoming transfer fees are priced case by case. Daya Business converts at a rate from Daya's own exchange. Verto charges 0.4% to 0.6% on major currencies by plan, and Grey Business 0.5% to 1%.

What do I need to open a business account like Juicyway?

Grey Business lists company registration documents and ownership details, with approval usually in 1 to 3 business days. Start verification before a payment is due, because it's the slowest part of switching.
