Delete Your Daya Account

Daya allows you to close your account and request deletion of your associated data directly from the app.

Steps to close your account

  1. Tap the Account tab
  2. Click on Profile
  3. Tap Close Account

What happens to your data

Data that is deleted

Your account profile information, preferences, and app-specific settings are permanently removed upon account closure.

Data that is retained

The following data is retained for 5–7 years as required by applicable financial regulations and anti-money laundering (AML) laws:

  • Transaction history
  • KYC/KYB documents
  • Identity verification logs
  • Audit trails
  • Compliance reports
